Take a Kid Karpin'

Come to Longbranch Park and fish in our Take a Kid Karpin', catch and release carp fishing tournament! The tournament hours will be from 8 AM-4 PM with registration at 7:30 AM. Open to anglers ages 7-16. Register as a team of 4 or 5 kids or register as pairs or individuals, and we will place you on a team. Kids will take turns fighting big fish, and try to bring home the gold for their team.

Our expert members of the Wild Carp Club will be ready with carp fishing equipment, all set to help you reel in the biggest fish you’ve ever caught. Tell your parents to have a camera or phone ready; we’ll make sure you can get a trophy picture before your fish is released back into the Seneca River. We’ll also give you a certificate with the weight of your fish!

This is a NY State free fishing weekend. No fishing licence is required.
